IASTE 2026 CONFERENCE ATTENDANCE GRANT

IASTE 2026 Conference Attendance Grant Application

The IASTE 2026 Conference Attendance Grant is intended to support participation in the IASTE 2026 Conference by providing a limited number of complimentary registrations. A total of three to five grants will be awarded to accepted presenters whose participation would meaningfully benefit from financial assistance and whose work aligns strongly with the conference theme and intellectual goals.

The grant is designed to promote inclusivity, scholarly exchange, and intergenerational dialogue within the IASTE community. Priority will be given to early-career scholars, graduate students, independent researchers, and participants from institutions or regions with limited access to conference funding. Applicants must have an abstract accepted for presentation at IASTE 2026 and must intend to attend and actively participate in the conference program and submit a WPS paper.

Each award covers the full conference registration fee only. Travel, accommodation, visas, and other associated expenses are not included and remain the recipient’s responsibility. Grant recipients are expected to register for the conference, present their papers as scheduled, and fully engage in conference sessions, discussions, and events.

Applicants are required to submit a brief Applicant Statement explaining the significance of their paper, the relevance of conference attendance to their academic or professional development, and how the registration grant would enable their participation. Awards will be made based on academic merit, relevance to the conference theme, and demonstrated need.

The IASTE 2026 Conference Attendance Grant reflects IASTE’s commitment to supporting diverse voices and ensuring broad participation in critical conversations on traditional environments, culture, and the built environment.
