CONFERENCE UPDATE 06/15/2021

Dear IASTE 2021 Registered Conference Participants
On behalf of the organizing committee, we are writing to update you on the preparation for our upcoming IASTE conference, VIRTUAL TRADITIONS, to be held in Nottingham, the UK, from August 31 – September 3, 2021.

As the global situation has continued to improve regarding the pandemic and many countries have started to remove travel restrictions, we expect to go ahead with the conference. We are fully aware that the situation in several countries worldwide is still designed as UK red or amber zones, and we hope that this situation will change soon.

You can review the conference program at iaste.org, and we are hopeful that the pandemic situation will continue to improve towards safe travels by August 31, 2021. We are also making contingency plans if the UK does not fully open by July 19, 2021, as currently announced by the UK government. We ask you to wait until the end of June before you make your final decision and that you let us know no later than Monday, July 5, if the travel restrictions from your country to the UK will NOT enable you to attend. This would allow us to adjust the program accordingly.

We want to assure you that all accepted abstracts by registered participants will be included in the Special Conference issue of TDSR, which will be available at the conference.

Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any concerns at this time.
